Health and Safety legislation gives employers a legal responsibility to provide adequate training for all employees who operate powered equipment under P.U.W.E.R. Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Section 2.
A certificate alone does not fulfil your legal requirements unless backed up with thorough and comprehensive training records to show that you have followed the training guidelines in the H.S.E. Approved Code of Practice.
